What is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?

Ive been reading some of the other answers and id like to know the difference. Some people say that bronzing powder is meant for certain places on the face like the cheaks and the forehead. If that is true, than what kind or color powder is supposed to be for the whole face. Is bronzing powder a make-up for people with darker skin or is it just to give a tan look for people with lighter skin? What is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?
Bronzing Powder = can be used anywhere on your face

used for tanning for light and dark skin

Reg. Powder= can be used anywhere on your face used for cover-up and/or for ur skin to look evenWhat is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?
regular powder is the exact match of your skin tone to go all over your face to even out the colour. bronzing powder is a colour that is darker than your natural colour to make you appear more tan, it can go all over your face, but some people choose to only put it onto certain parts, like thier cheeks.
Bronzing powder is used for contouring, and for giving that sun-kissed look. Bronzing powder, just like regular powder comes in many colors to compliment different skin tones. If you look in the mirror and suck in your cheeks, that hollow area on each side that you see is where bronzer would be lightly applied to give the appearance of defined cheekbones. Mostly women over 18 should do this, as seeing it on younger girls looks rather weird. On the forehead, it is for lessening the appearance of a large forehead, and can be used for contouring the nose to camouflage imperfections. It can be swept under the jaw line right above your neck to shadow and define the jaw line. It really can enhance the shape of facial features if you use it right. You cannot cake this powder on or you will have lines. I wear it under regular powder, blending both together.
Bronzer is to darken certain areas of the face for a sun kissed look, and powder is for all over. They make powder for people with dark skin to put all over the face and also bronzer to highlight certain areas, usually bronzer has a shine to it so its best to use powder for all over.
Bronzing powder can be used on lighter skinned people for that sun-kissed look. Just use sparingly. I only recommend using on your face or maybe a little across your collar bones. Regular powder can be applied all over.
Bronzer can be used for any skin color. It can give light skinned people some color, but most bronzers have a sparkle to them. This can give your skin a sparkle. Bronzer can be used all over your face, even your neck. Bronzing powder is a makeup, and can be found at most makeup places. (ex.Sephora, ULTA, etc.)
