Avon, revlon %26amp; maybelline all have bronzers but i'm not very sure if they bring in bronzers to india. You might want to try buying it off some international websites like:

To all Mary Kay Reps? For someone who uses Bronze 600 med coverage, what shade of loose powder should I use?

Is it golden bronze, light bronze or bronze? Can i use tinted moisturizer in place of foundation? if yes, which shade: bronze 1 or bronze 2? I have combination skin so that's why I use medium coverage?

I can't seem to find any rep here in my location for consultation? To all Mary Kay Reps? For someone who uses Bronze 600 med coverage, what shade of loose powder should I use?
Hi,

Med coverage 600 is oil absorbing foundation the shade 600 is bronze ( you are right in the middle) with yellow undertone

I would recommend Bronze 607 dual powder or Bronze 2 loose powder.

Bronze 2 tinted moisturizer.

Remember our products are 100% guaranteed so if the shade needs to be adjusted it is not a problem exchanging. To all Mary Kay Reps? For someone who uses Bronze 600 med coverage, what shade of loose powder should I use?
I'll address the other question of yours because the other two answered the powder part well. :)

If you are having problems finding a rep in your location, go to our website and if you are in the US, at the top of the screen is displayed ';Find a Representative';. Click that and then on the next screen, punch in your zip code. Write down the name and number of the lady listed. Each time you go to this screen, you get someone totally new.
Sandra D is absolutely correct on all the shades she suggested. Yes, you can use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. It is a bit shearer than regular foundation and doesn't give as much coverage, but it is great for evening out your skin tone. I love it for weekends and other times when I don't want to wear full make-up. The medium coverage foundation is a good choice for your skin type - stick with it for all the times when you need good coverage or full makeup.

To all Mary Kay reps again! R u sure about the bronze 2 loose powder?

Thanks for answering my 1st question. I checked out the recommended podwers - bronze 2 loose powder, bronze 2 tinted moisturizer and bronze 607 dual coverage - they looked darker than my complexion. I couldn't test them b/c they are sold OTC %26amp; wouldnt be opened for testn unless you r buyn them. So should i go ahead %26amp; get them as you had recommended? Please, remember i use the bronze 600 med cov foundation.

THANKS!

Try before you buy is a philosophy Mary Kay uses. Why can't you open them to try them? The consultant doesn't lose anything for you to try them. If you don't like them, all she has to do is fill out a form and she gets a replacement for free.

No obligation to try before you buy.

Which bronzer is better? Physicians formula bronze booster or physicians formula solar powder?

If I were you I would look in different brands of bronzers. Some of my friends used that and they say its horrible. It made there face get all red and splotchy.Which bronzer is better? Physicians formula bronze booster or physicians formula solar powder?
you should provide us links so we can look at them and refresh our memories... but i looked them up myself.

And I would say for sure the bronze booster. you dont want a bronzer with spf in it then you will have sun tan lotion on certain spots of your face and not others!! And when u wash your makeup off you will have white spots! haha lol!

You want foundation or face lotion with spf lol

I have never tried the bronze booster but it looks really really pretty :)

Hope I helped :)Which bronzer is better? Physicians formula bronze booster or physicians formula solar powder?
Jennifer,

I cannot recommend neither because I've never used them. For bronzer I use and recommend Picture Perfect

If you are near a Clinique counter, ask to see the box, the box should list the ingredients. If not, go to clinique.com and see if it is listed there. If it is not then contact clinique.com and ask them to provide a list of ingredients for that product. They are suppose to, I've asked them myself before.

Loreal Glam Bronze Mineral Powder Pearls - Brunette?

i have dark brown hair , with fair skin would this be too dark for my skin , although i fake bake often will it still be alright ?Loreal Glam Bronze Mineral Powder Pearls - Brunette?
yes, it will be fine. will bring out the colour in your face :-)

    good luck!

Which is better- Bonne Bell Powder Bronze (the darkest one because I read that the lighter shades are reddish

or Bonne Bell Gel Bronze (again darkest shade)

I have fair skin so I plan on using these sparingly, just enough to take away from the pastiness brought on by foundation and give a slight brownish glow...Which is better- Bonne Bell Powder Bronze (the darkest one because I read that the lighter shades are reddish
Id say stay away from the gel and use powder it's easier to apply and remove if you put too much on.Which is better- Bonne Bell Powder Bronze (the darkest one because I read that the lighter shades are reddish
Bonne Bell isn't the most trustworthy of brands...

    Bronzing powders ?

does any one know of a bronzer or any powder make up which gives you a brown sort of look ? the past bronzing powders i have used have made my face look a sort of orange colour. I have been trying to find a bronzer which will give me a brown look and i cant find one anywere!! they all look orange coloured when i put it on !Bronzing powders ?
    Barry M: http://www.barrym.co.uk/products/face.as…Bronzing powders ?
dip your powder brush in powder then dab it in the brozer once and put it on ur face. then use a LITTLE bit of it to highlight ur cheeks. the whole point of bronzer is to make your face look sun-kissed so put it where the natural light hits you. apply the make up in the sun so you can see how it really looks.
have you tried the bronzing balls instead of a standard bronzer powder?they work so much better and you will not get an orange look at all...

all companies do them, from no. 7 and body shop and there's a really nice one by, i think, elizabeth arden

just go to Boots and try a few testers to choose the one that works best for you!
    MARY KAY !

I use their make-up, including bronzers. They have this one bronzer, its a mixture of 2 colours. Its awesome ! Also, when you stand in the sun, you glow, cause it has some glitter in it.
if ur looking for a powder thats darker than ur skin by at least 1 or 2 shades, then u should try using a self-tanning moisturizer (not a cheap one tho - its safer if it is more than $10). how it works: apply the self-tanning moisturizer (with an spf of at least 15) n then have fun in the sun. u'll build a rele nice tan over time.

all the same: u can try the body shop's shimmer strips powder and shiseido's new multi-colour face powder (i dunno exactly wut its called but u can check their website)

    www.thebodyshop.com

    www.shiseido.com

    hope that helped :D
I'd use TruBlend bronzer from Covergirl. When using it, make sure you only use it lightly and try to apply it where the sun naturally hits your face: the top of the apple of your cheeks, your browbone, and across the bridge of your nose.
try too faced, two faced, to faced one of those idk how to spell it but they make a really good bronzer. you can get it at sephora or just google it.
I actually use 17 bronzing powder in the summer and find that that gives a gorgeous shimmery tan that doesn't look too fake and is also great for cheekbones! Great price too!
    Avon bronzing balls are great!

You can always get a great deal with Avon too.

i.e free brush, free lippy or now and again they are half price.
I'd try the mac website - I think they make the best quality makeup - its a little pricey but its the only brand I buy as you only need to use a small amount as its good quality
I cant find any good bronzer powders either. All mines make my face look orange. But if you cant find a bronxer powder buy Jergens face tanning lotion to give you a brown look
i like avon's Arabian Glow,it cover's really well and look's very natural.Plus it won't break the bank money wise either! :-)
Pur Minerals Bronzer is what I have.
try maybelline. its the best. MAC is a pricier alternative
Try Bobbi Brown's shimmerbrick in the bronze shade x

  • Bronze Powder, Bronze Pearls or Blush?

What should I use to blush/bronze my face? What's the difference between the normal blush and bonze powder? What do you prefer to use in the winter for natural glow or healthy skin? In summer I used bronze powder but found it too glittery to use all the time. Now it's finished and I want to buy a new blush. Are there any you can recomend? Thanks!Bronze Powder, Bronze Pearls or Blush?
I had this recommended to me by a consultant when I went to buy wedding make-up:

Get a bronzer (a non-shimmery one for winter if you want it to be a little more subtle) and sweep it along the hollow in your cheeks (suck your cheeks in and it's much easier to see.)

Personally I prefer a compact bronzer for winter and then the pearls or powder for summer (powder is easy to overload with so pearls are a little more subtle)

Then, depending on your skin colour, get a natural looking blusher and run it along your cheek bones, up to your temples and down towards your jaw slightly.

Finally get a pinker blusher and add a little to just the apples of your cheeks (the prominent bits when you smile)

Most important in all of this is to not go over the top. you don't want 3 noticeable areas of bronzer/blusher. Make sure that you don't overload your brushes and that you blend well.Bronze Powder, Bronze Pearls or Blush?
    Bronze Pearls there more natural
Bronze powder. Because you can always add more or take off more.
id rather use a nice pinky redish blush......x
I like bronzing powder. The pearls are hard to work with.
i prefer bronzing powder not all of them are glittery iv got the rimmel one at the moment which is good

blusher is good if you want a coloured tinge to your face but i find that if you use bronzing powder instead of a foundation powder its better

bronzing pearls are crap as you have to put your brush on them 4 ages to get any!

i find that rimmel products are really good and cheap so try one of their blushers
    bronze pearls
I love to use a light dust of bronzer on my face and chest then I apply cream blush to my cheeks to give me a extra healthy glow.

I reccommend Benefit Dallas or Bare Escentuals bronzer and body shop cream blush (in a little tube)

I apply my bronzer with a powder brush.

So i dont see why you can't apply powder with a bronzer brush.

    It saves money :).

You'll just have to work around your face as it won't cover as big an area as a powder brush.

But you'll be fine to use it :).Is a bronzing brush the same a s a powder brush?
I'm pretty sure you could use your bronzing brush as a loose power brush too, but make sure it's clean..if not, just buy a pack of powder puffs, I think the cheapest places in the UK to buy them are in Superdrug, but if you have a Bodycare shop near you, that's amazingly cheap but really good quality.

    About properly applying bronzing liquids/powders?

    I have the sets:

    concealer

    liquid foundation

    powder

    liquid bronzer

    powder bronzer

Ok, so in what order, and how best do i use these? I LOVE the bronzers!!About properly applying bronzing liquids/powders?
liquids first, powders lastAbout properly applying bronzing liquids/powders?
    concealer, then foundation, then bronzer.

remember to blend the foundation well so that you don't have lines.
I like to mix liquid bronzer with foundation for a natural look. Then I apply concealer and foundation. Buff the extra make up with a sponge. Next apply your bronze powder and LIGHT blush on the apple of your cheeks, buff out with a powder brush- and LIGHTLY add face powder with a brush to set it. This is the best way to achieve a natural bronzey look!

Is bronzing brush = buffer brush = powder brush?

So i can't really spot the difference between the three.. i've seen lots of kabukis... and not sure what they are for... i mean... some of them are called bronzing brush.. same are called face brush....

are they basically the same?? i need one for both powder application and to buff out any excess for a perfect finishing look... can i use bronzing brush?? and is it better to use the one that comes in smaller or bigger size??

thanks..Is bronzing brush = buffer brush = powder brush?
Buffer/kabuki brush- dome shape fluffy brush with short handle, probably best for powder foundation especially mineral powder because its easier to pickup.

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

Powder brush- big brush with long handle for the application of loose or pressed powder. Because of the way its shaped: dome + paddle, it can pick up more powder compared to the buffer brush. Its longer handle also allow easier application.

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

Blush brush- Can also be use as a bronzer brush. Its smaller then a powder brush for precise application of blush to the cheeks otherwise you will get too much color on your face or cheeks. You can use this as a powder brush also.

    http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/pr鈥?/a>

Is bronzing brush = buffer brush = powder brush?
Technically, they are all a little bit different.

A REAL kabuki brush is a little short brush (because it doesn't have a long handle) and its bristles are rounded. So if you were to see the brush sideways, it look a little bit like a U.

A bronzer brush usually is a normal brush with a slanted edge. Like: /

A buffer brush. i have no idea what that is.

And a powder brush is flat and usually has a longer handle.

You can use a kabuki brush or powder brush for everything, but for all those people who are obsessed with make-up, you can buy all the different brushes.

So. I hope that helps :)

p.s. yes. you can use a bronzer brush, it just doesn't spread color as evenly because it's usually slanted
dude they are all the exact same brush in different sizes and prices to trick us into buying more :( i figured tht out when i went to the makeup counter and asked what the difference was and the lady didnt know the answer :(

Should i wear bronze powder on my face if i have fair skin?

well it's fair but there's a pink undertone to it also. '

if so, which one??Should i wear bronze powder on my face if i have fair skin?
Bronzer looks great on almost anybody. I too have very pale skin with a pink undertone. I suggest CoverGirl TRUblend Microminerals Bronzer. It blends flawlessly and naturally with your skin but looks fantastic. Here is a link: http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a>Should i wear bronze powder on my face if i have fair skin?
    haaaai,

ofcourse you can wear bronzer, just make sure it isn't too dark and is the right colour for you.

Also, try not too apply too much, that's what many people get wrong with bronzer! You don't want to look overdone.

Try a cooler, lighter tone, this will look nice and natural on fair skin.

The trouble is with bronzer is that it can stick and set quite easily to your face before you have finished applying it to your desired areas, so be careful with that! Try to use a brush.

Good luck! Hope i helped. :)
Just make sureyou blend it with your neck, and don't use too much. Use a proper bronzing brush as well, the huuuge one i mean. It spreads it out more evenly. I use Rimmel Sunkissed bronzer, there's only two shades and i use the lighter one because i have fair skin.
u sounds like u have the same skin type as me...=) I think u should google Dinair Airbrush Makeup and get their shade alabaster...it would be prefect for ur coloring...i then use a shade call bronze 2 as my bronzer..i have been using their makeup for years and i LOVE it...its makes my skin look flawless and it stays on all day...its also all water based so its not bad for ur skin...hope i helped in some way...=)
If you want to wear a bronze powder, just go with a light one, you wouldn't want a dark one...it might look weird, especially if you have fair skin. good luuck!

    -Cassie%26lt;33
I say try a little bit on your face and see how it looks.

I went into Sephora one day, and this lady helped me look for a really good bronzer. She told me to just get a foundation

(powder) thats 2-3 tones darker than my face during the summer. You can use it to contour your face and just blend it out. Also, after that I use Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips. They aren't as bold and glittery as they look. It actually comes out really pretty and glowy almost. When you put these together it makes your face look absolutely flawless, idk why, but it does. Why doesn't bronzing powder stay on for long?

I do not wear foundation and never have done ( only on make overs/occasions) and i use a large brush to apply with, HELP!!Why doesn't bronzing powder stay on for long?
I use MAC bronzing powder too and to help it stay on I would use a primer underneath it and use a fixing spray like MAC's fix + after applying all of my makeup. Why doesn't bronzing powder stay on for long?
It depends on how active you are.

How much you sweat and how often you will re-apply.

    %26amp; what brand.
1st and for most double cleanse tone serum moisturise before you even start to apply your make up follow this by blotting sheets to soak up excess oil then you take a primer this will make your skin smoother and make it more matt you can buy the primer from mac aswell it is called prep and prime you take a pump of primer smooth it over your face wait for it to soak in and apply your make up
its stays on to long because its controlled by the government!

    BEWARE THE GOVERNMENT!
OK, bronzer needs to be applied to a matt face. So you need to put a powder on your face before you apply the bronzing powder. Is it not obvious to you that if you apply a powder onto a slippery or unmatted surface (your moisturiser) it won't slip off. So yeah if you want to wear bronzing powder you need to put a powder on underneath, use a clear one if you're scared of coloured powder.
I've never worn bronzing powder, but, have you considered maybe applying a self tanner at night before bedtime. You would have really good color by morning. Then, there would be no need for a bronzing powder. Oh, by the way, there is the best Matte finish moisturizer on the market. Its by Lauren Hutton. I love this stuff . It also hides my wrinkles and doesn't mess with whatever makeup I am applying. No oily face later in the day either.
This happens with any kind of blush / bronzer / foundation. We touch our faces a lot throughout the day, without even noticing, so we wipe it away ourselves! Keep a small powder and brush set in your bag or purse, and quickly re-apply in the ladies at lunchtime to maintain the glowing look.

I was considering getting a spray tan (the ones that last 2-3 weeks) with some bronzer for my face but I don't want to turn orange. Where is the best place to go/the best bronzer to use? Is there something I can do before hand that will ensure that I wont turn orange??? any and all help is appreciated!!!Bronzing powder and spray tans?? help plz!?!?
Arbonne Made in the Shade self tanner.

its brilliant i have been using it forever and it doesnt make you orange and you dont have to go in the sun! make sure you wash your hands after applying it though.

and then when you do go in the sun use Arbonne Liquid sunshine SPF 15 becaause it enhances your tan and really brings out the golden tones in yuor skin.

use both these products on your face and you wont have to use bronzer. i have been using these products for years and they give me a natural sun kissed golden tan without the harmful UV rays.

Use lotion before hand especially on places like your knees, feet, elbows, hands, and neck. Use the spray on some ';hidden'; area first to make sure it works to your liking.

Personally I think pale skin the beautiful-even more beautiful than tan. I have stayed out of the sun the past two summers just to get pale. Everybody loves my skin color. But anyways...the best of luck to you!
im also extremely pale and i recommend that instead on getting a spray tan that will surely make you look like an orange, use those lotions that gradually give you a glow in usually about 7 days.

you need to put loose powder on before bronzing powder. Don't put bronzing powder all over your face and neck-just on cheeks and a little on forehead.

    WHAT'S THE BEST BRONZING POWDER?

A cheap one. Very cheap. Please! :) Thanks a lot.WHAT'S THE BEST BRONZING POWDER?
rimmel london natural bronzer works great plus its cheapWHAT'S THE BEST BRONZING POWDER?
i love the mac one. u would have to go to the MAC counter at nordstroms or the MAC store there not to expensive but if your talking about really cheap one the brand NYC is so cheap and it worls well.
MAC works miracles, but a cheap one is e.l.f bronzing powder it's only $1 haha

    Nars Bronzing Powder Question?!?!?

I am very pale with pink undertones, (I'm nc15 in mac) and I was wondering which Nars bronzing powder should I get?

    - Casino

    - Irresistiblement

    - Laguna

    Website to see colors: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?categoryId=A17%26amp;id=P12790

Which one would make my face look the right amount bronze and not too dark?

    Please use your experience!

    But, anyones opinion is appreciated?!?

Thank you in advance!Nars Bronzing Powder Question?!?!?
Hi! I have really pale skin too!

What I would really recommend is to go to the Sephora store and check it out just in case maybe you'll have allergic reactions.

Though from what you're saying, I would recommend Irresistiblement because it's the lightest skin tone. You don't want your face be a whole different shade from your body!

    Have fun!Nars Bronzing Powder Question?!?!?
Casino seems so orange and brown so for your complexion and color I would use the Irresistiblement. Maybe Laguna but if you are pale pale than you want to use the irresistiblement. :)

    good luck
I think that the Laguna would look best on you. You want color which I don't think Irresistiblement would give you. The Casino is too dark and is meant for someone like me, with caramel skin. Because your description of your skin sounds cool, giving it just a hint of warmth would look best. I have the Casino on right now, mixed with Orgasm blush.
I'm also NC15. I plan on getting Laguna next. I've heard great things from the you tube people. Use a big brush and use sparingly. Build up the colour as you need it : )
Laguna! I know its just the really popular one but it is just so good! Ive played with it before If I could use it i would im to dark to use it im an NC44 : [
    LAGUNA.

Has anyone tried e.l.f 's healthy glow bronzing powder ?

if yes, how is it ?Has anyone tried e.l.f 's healthy glow bronzing powder ?
i used that same shade, the lightest one, %26amp;%26amp; loved it. works well as a hilighter. it has gold shimmer %26amp;%26amp; it makes your skin look like it.s glowing.

my only complaint was that it wasn.t pressed very tightly. i tried repressing it, with no luck. it was still pressed lightly. personally i think it.s well worth it. i.d get it in a couple different shades for experimentation.

4 out of 5 starsHas anyone tried e.l.f 's healthy glow bronzing powder ?
i tried the lightest shade (im very pale) and i didnt like it. it didnt show up on my skin that well and was wayyy too shimmery but i heard that the shade ';sunkissed'; is good.

    Best Bronzing Powder?

I am ADDICTED to bronzing powder and I need to know a really good bronzing powder that doesnt break my bank..=P

I have tried lancome but that gave me more of a red glittery look which I didnt want! I want a bronzing powder that doesnt make me look orange either, I've tried the body shop bronzer but it makes me look fake and orange tinted!Best Bronzing Powder?
I use the one from Superdrug (their own range) called Solait I think. It's a powder one, without any glitter which gives a natural look. You need to use it with a big brusg though as it doesn't spread well %26amp; looks blotchy otherwise.

    it is only 拢3.49.

    Bronzing powder...PLEASE help?

okay i went to Merle Norman and got some bronzing powder cause my friends told me about it. well i put it ALL over my face and you could tell a HUGE difference. i'm guessing i'm using it wrong..lol. so how do you use it?? i wanted to wear it tonight so please help!!

    thank you!

    ssBronzing powder...PLEASE help?
Hopefully it came with a powder type brush and not a sponge. To use it corrrectly, lightly dust it around the top of your cheek bones, around the temples and very, very lightly around your jaw line.
Don't put too much on or you can end up looking like you have a dirty face. lol What I do is get a big fat brush. Put a small amount of the powder on your brush, tap off the excess. Now put it on your face where the sun would naturally hit it if you had a tan. Forehead,Nose,Cheeks etc. Put it on in small increments until your satisfied with the way it looks. Less is more with bronzers.
It's best to use on the nose, at the top of the forehead, on cheek bones and along the chin line.
I am not sure what you are using, but powders are only supposed to be used in areas where the sun might kiss you Like, the apple of your cheeks, right at your chin, and a little on the bridge of your nose. Not too much though. If you are talking about a self tanner, then you are supposed to put it all over, but you got a color that was wrong for you.
you only brush it on where the sun hits your face the most at...cheeks, the bridge of your nose, forehead, chin. don't use too much.
i use a big brush for mine.

even though you're a yankees fan, i'll help you out. :)

    GO SOX. %26lt;3
i suggest you dont use it... 2 of my friends used a spray-powdery -thing, and they turned orange...

    ~鈾?br>

they used too much. only use a little!
you use it like a foundation powder thingy. Maybe the color you got is too dark?? And the brand matters too...use the lightest one from Victoria's Secret. It works, and it's cheap.
Truthfully I am not a Merle Norman fan but here goes you should be brushing it on with a powder brush but the biggest problem is it may just be too dark or range for your skin color that happens all the time, it used to happen to me as well until I found a truly remarkable company on line BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS , their Safari Bronzer's are so perfect, I use the color CONGO now int he summer it looks dark but its magical because one sweep of the brush and sun kissed color any where you brush, there is no shocking color contrast and its shimmery so it just makes you glow healthy and naturally pretty. I have gotten so many compliments since I started using their products Ii am hooked. anyway maybe give it a look and try

  • Good bronzing powder?

when do you put it on........over blush and foundation?? and put it on neck too?Good bronzing powder?
Mary Kay has a bronzing powder that works great. You can put it any where you want to. I use it as a blush.Good bronzing powder?
I like (Mary Kay's bronzing powder alone $16 or $29 for the bronzer, compact, and brush all together) or (Benefit's Dallas $26). Mary Kay's gives you more of the copper look and it has all that shiny mica glitter in it, which is nice. But if you want a more natural look try Benefit's. This one gives you a somewhat pinkish bronze, (kind of like a nice little sunburn) and it's not that shiny. Just don't over due it with these or you'll look like you just came out of hell. TIP: Have both Mary Kay's and Benefit's cosmetic consultants try it on you during the day to see it with different lights and decide which one suits your skin color and your taste better.
i dont know a good one but dont buy bonnebell it sucks!
Mary Kay's bronzing powder is awesome. i have a friend who sells Mary Kay and when she came over for a consultation she put it on after foundation but before blush. you can put it on pretty much anywhere on your face, although i've never heard of anyone putting it on their neck.
well i just use it by itself and it works okay

Which is the best bronzing powder to buy also a good tinted mousturiser not bothered about price!!!!?

physcians formula has a wide selection of bronzers.usually around 10-12 dollars. and olay make a touch of sun moisurizer. thats usually around the same price i believe. hope this helped.Which is the best bronzing powder to buy also a good tinted mousturiser not bothered about price!!!!?
Physicians formula makes good bronzers. Jane's are good if you are of a medium skin tone. If you're really dark or pale I wouldn't use them.

I do like Jane's tinted moisturizer, though. It's about $5 and goes on very smooth. They have a decent selection of shades as well.
Mary Kay has wonderful Bronzing Powder and they came out with a great tinted moisturizer not to long ago....both are great products...
I'm using clinique bronzer at the minute. You don't need to use a lot and it is good.
benefit's hoola bronzer is good and laura mercier has a great tinted moisturizer
Laura Mercier tinted foundation is probably the best one I've used - pricey though at about 拢29 from SpaceNK.

Nars bronzer in Laguna is a fabulous product the suits fair skins and isn't remotely orange.

    MAC Bronzing Powder shades?

I don't have a MAC counter anywhere near me, but I am hoping to buy MAC bronzer online.

Please recommend the best shade for me.

I have quite a neutral skintone, I do use sunbeds (yes, naughty!) but I would say I have a very subtle tan, nothing which makes me look like I've been on holiday for weeks as I'm naturally fair.

I'm desperate for the least orange shade, and something which is extremely natural and subtle but gives you a glamorous, light brown glow.MAC Bronzing Powder shades?

  • How do you apply bronzing powder???

i have this little problem... everytime i apply it, it looks like i just painted my cheeks gold... how much do i apply, where, and HOW??? i use a blusher brush and i am sure im not overloading the brush nor that it is the wrong colour for me... i remember a lady put it on for me professionally and i loved it! what have i done???How do you apply bronzing powder???
Don't overdo the bronzer or else it will just looks too shimmery like you have a bad sunburn or something. You want to look like it's natural and that you've only been in the sun for a couple minutes. The trick is to get the right shades. I use a blush brush..the size of my apples or cheeks. A brush too bigger than that will get the bronzer everywhere on your face. Swirl your brush into your bronzer and then tap it or blow onto the bristles to take out the excess powders. Sweep it lightly across your forehead, right above your brow(only an inch above your eye brows, anymore than that..it's too much), lightly right down your nose, and the side cheeks of your nose (This area is located next to your nose and is not on the nose itself....it is close to your apples/ cheeks), and apply on your chin. Don't apply the bronzer to your cheeks...it will look too much! Hope that helped. How do you apply bronzing powder???
Okay the key is NOT to apply it everywhere. You dust it across your forehead, on the apples of your cheeks, and a tad down the centre of your nose. Try putting a little bit at a time until you are satisfied. And make sure there's good lighting or you'll look like a pumpkin once you get outside!
Make sure the bronzer is for your skin tone lets say 2-3 shades off your natural color. Make sure you have a big fluffy brush, not the little one the product comes with. Then apply it across forehead, jawline, down your nose, across cheekbones.
First , u must have the right shade, then get the right brush . it should be real fat brissles, milk or etc very soft.. U put a little on brush , tap it to get rid of the loose. apply it lightly. on your face etc. a little and litely is the key, if too much, it looks fake and streaky, Practice , practice... Good luck. make sure your face is dry....
When you are about to apply it, just blow or tap alil of the excess powder off. Then dab a tiny bit on your t-zone, and on your cheeks.
u should use a blush brush and just swipe it into the powder once and shake the excess powder off and than apply that much to your cheek bones would be and a little less than that on your forehead and mebe just a tad on your nose. That should do it!
    How to apply Bronzer

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gnA4Lmo_b鈥?/a>
Imagine you're making a ';3'; on your face. 1.) Suck in your cheeks. 2.)Starting at your temple, almost in your hairline, follow the curve of your face and make the ';top curve'; of the 3 from temple to just in the hollow you made when sucking in your cheeks. 3.)Starting in the hollow of your cheet, follow the curve of your face to make the bottom curve of the 3 from hollow to jawline. 4.)Repeat on the other side of your face.

This bronzes your face, as well as countours it. For a more done-up and extra-sunkissed glow, sweep one, light line across your forehead and down the middle of your nose in a ';T'; shape.

Do you think bronzing powders make people look orange?

What do you think about bronzing powders? I used to use it a lot to tone down the pinkness of my skin that is kind of tan (sort of dark but not all that much). Then they discontinued the one I used to buy, but I don't know maybe it was too orange anyway. Now it seems like all the choices are for pale skinned people and they're oranger than ever. Does that really look good on anyone?Do you think bronzing powders make people look orange?
they don't look good on most people. tanning makes you age faster and it makes you look way too old. see girls a my school, they look way too orange. they are the laughing stalk of my school. lol. but i mean it looks good on girls that are light eyed and too pale. but not too much. just to make your skin a little darker.Do you think bronzing powders make people look orange?
I agree, some bronzers obviously leave off the 'orangutang' effect, but you can get some really good, effective ones.

My mum introduced me to an excellent one, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. In the brick, there are all kinds of colours you can brush onto your face and you get an immediate glow. I'm telling you, it works. However if you over use it, your skin is literally going to break out and you will be a glitterface (not very nice) So if you use it in proportion and limited, then you should be okay.
    some ppl go overboard.

apply with window open so you can really see how much you are applying .
no not to me it kinda makes people loook better
I think it depends on how much you use.
it can do, but some people just put it on badly tbh

if it's used well, it looks really good
    only if you buy orange?
No, they make you glow. I use them in the Summer. Guerlain and Bobbi Brown make the best bronzers.
not if you apply it correctly...from your temple down to your cheekbone( where you would normally start applying blush) go in a downward motion. hope this helps! and dont apply to much just enough to shimmer:)
no, it doesn't. it's not worth it.

if you're going to use a bronzer, make sure it's from a really good company, like bare escentuals or elizabeth grady. drug store makeup is like putting raw chemicals on your skin. it's harmful and makes you look fake anyway. make sure you use something sheer because you'll just look fake if you don't. also, the type of brush is important to evenly distribute the makeup to give you the most even coverage.
umm it can maek poeple look orange if you put to much on.. I personally love to put on bronzer, but i don't have any. :( But make sure that you have a good brush to work with.. because if not your going to have to much of the bronzing powder on the bad brush and it will make your face look orange/

    try :
I think they are orange tinted because that makes ppl look like they've been in the sun. You can get pinkish bronzer, but I prefer an oranger one...jus depends on your skin tone.

I use the Lit Up shade of Bronzed Babe from LA Minerals. They have samples for like $1 and they ship em free. Maybe you will find a new bronzer you like! http://www.laminerals.com

    Bronzing Powder as concealer?

can You use bronzing powder on body parts other than face? and can you use it to cover small scars?Bronzing Powder as concealer?
I don't think it can really cover scars that well. It will darken the stop. Try using a concealer instead. Then bronzer over if needed.

Yes you can use it for other parts of your body to give a nice glowing looking tone or use it to highlight.Bronzing Powder as concealer?
bronzing isn't going to conceal anything but you can try some concealers that are really impressive and blend with the skin by dr. murad then bronze gently over the areas you want bronzed
It won't concealanything, rather make it more bronzed and draw more attention to it.
you can use it on scars, but on some body parts

I love Hoola by benefit! ( you can find it at Macy's and it is bit pricey, but lasts forever and works great) It seriously works on any skin tone, from really fair to dark! and it gives a natural but really pretty glow and shimmer.

If your not willing to shell out 25 bucks then physicians formula bronzers/blushes ( that you can find it at any drug store) also work pretty good. Just watch out how much you put on it can get orangey.

    Good luck =]
I love bodyshops bronzer, they have one which comes sort of in a brush which comes out when you use it, also they have little bronzing pearls in a tub too, I prefer bodyshop bronzer as its not too dark, its the first bronzer i ever tried as my mum had the bronzing pearls and ive tried other things in between but bodyshop is still my favourite. Also Barry M bronzer is pretty good and i think cheaper, again not too dark but enough to give you that glow when you need it x

I have 3 favorites: MAC is amazing and they have a large selection to choose from. Victoria Secret is awesome as well and is more ';shimmery'; than MAC. Currently i'm using the physicians formula from target(or walmart). I've tried 2 different shades, the first was extremely bronze unless you applied carefully not liberally. the second was the lightest shade they offer and it gave off this amazing glow. i have fair to medium skin so i really liked it. it comes in a square clear container and the makeup itself are lines, each line a different shade but meant to be blended.
okay, you can use the huge brushes that they sell at bath %26amp;body works. Its a huge makeup brush and when you apply it on to your body or face it gives the shimmery touchy that you are looking for. I went to American Eagle the other day and they were selling it too, but the scent was different of course. And I am pretty sure Victoria Secerts sells that product too, but just remeber that they are going to smell different depending on what store you pruchase it from because its not the same company who makes them, I think. But they all look the same and do the same job accept that they will smell different depending on what store you purchase it from and they might sell different sizes cause the ones that I saw at American eagle were huge. Anyways that's one of the options. The other ones is that if you go to like a Bare Minerals store or Sephora they might sell a bronzer of the color or shade you're looking for. If you don't have a Bare Minerals store near you then to their website. I believe its bareminerals.com or you can just google bare minerals and you'll find the main website. Sheer cover also sells bronzer . I think its like the shade J.LO wears. Just either google or go to sheercover.com to see more varities.

I hope this helped. Bare minerals and sheer cover sell like the best makeup, you can't tell or feel like you're wearing it.
MAC's bronzing powder is by far the best! Comes in a great range of colours with some gold shimmer (not too much that it looks fake) but it really makes you glow. Have a look on their website. If you don't want to pay more than $30 then try Australis bronzer. It is a great colour and has gold shimmer in it to make you glow. They are both pressed powders rather than loose.
YSL sun powder compact choose a light shade.

very good comes with face brush you can also use i to highlight your cheekbones. spreads evenly i wouldn't use any other 1 and believe me i'v tried them all as i have dry skin and this doesn't affect me at all. my friends always comment on how good it looks!!!
    I can't recommend Prestige Skin Loving Minerals make-up enough,it's fantastic,natural looking,does not contain talc,will not clog-pores etc

they have a selection of bronzing colours but the effect you are after (which is the one I go for is Pure shimmer)

I highly recommend all their products!
Hey my favorite bronzer by far is Bronze Bohme (medium) by Vani-t, you apply it with a big fluffly brush, it makes you skin look slightly bronzed (an you can layer if you want it darker), slightly shimmery and makes your skin look flawless!
i use on from NYC! it's really good and only cheap it's kinda mosaic so if you want a darker look in the summer you can and a lighter look in the winter!
i use fake bake which is really good for a night out...this is a bit pricey at 拢25

one for the day time i use avons arabian glow in shimmering bronze its only about 拢8.

hope you find one you like soon

Has anyone tried Benefit Hoola Bronzing powder?

I've been thinking of buying this bronzer for a while...and I've heard it's not orange at all but that i can look muddy or dirrty....any advice?Has anyone tried Benefit Hoola Bronzing powder?
I have to say that I really don't care for that particular bronzer. It tends to make the user look dirty, because of the color. May I suggest something else for you? For your skintone, I suggest using Stila's bronzing powder, it's called ';Sun';. There's 2 different shades, depending on your skin tone, and looking at your avatar you're probably ';Sun 2';. Stila's is much better and it has just a subtle amount of shimmer, so that it looks like you've been kissed by the sun :o) I hope I've helped. Good luck!Has anyone tried Benefit Hoola Bronzing powder?
As with any bronzer, it totally depends on how you apply it and on your skintone. It can look muddy or dirty if you don't blend it really well. Get a great big brush to apply it and you should be fine. If you wear foundation, try brushing it on your hand, putting the foundation in your hand and mixing them before application. Good luck!
Go for the natural look! Aside from using a good makeup line, you may also try Jergens Natural Glow sample for better skintone. It pays off real well when you have a great skincolor. Check out this site http://www.upkb.com/naturalglow.php for product inquiries and skincare tips.
I have Benefit Hoola, but don't use it much. It's very brown, not orange at all. I think that with the right make-up brush (big and fluffy for powder) and a light touch, it works great. Just remember that a little goes a long way. Use it sparingly and you should be fine.
To be honest I've never tried it, but my friend has and it looked great on her. It didn't make her look too dark or orange, but she looked natural with it on.
    no
Yes I use it and really like it. I dont have to use much so it's lasted me almost a year. You have to be careful where you apply it and how much you use.

Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder or Nars in Casino?

    which one is better???

note: i have very dry skin!!!Guerlain Terracotta Bronzing Powder or Nars in Casino?
Maybe Nars but I'm not sure. The main ingredient in the Guerlain is talc and talc is known to be bad for your skin. It can cause irritation and dryness. I couldn't find the ingredients for the Nars Bronzing Powder but if it has talc as a main ingredient then you would want to avoid it as well. A lot of mineral makeup is talc free like physicians formula and bare escentuals but I'm not sure what they have in the line of bronzers. Hope this helped!

Anyone tried the new Mary Kay mineral bronzing powder?

I just did, and it was awful. I'm so disappointed because I loved the old bronzer. This one goes on all blotchy and uneven. Now I'm stuck without a bronzer. Any suggestions? (please, I don't need any MK consultants telling me I am applying it incorrectly... that's not the case... it just sucks).Anyone tried the new Mary Kay mineral bronzing powder?
i have and didnt like the effectAnyone tried the new Mary Kay mineral bronzing powder?
I just became a mary kay consultant, and i have not yet tried thie bronzing powder yet. but to help answer your question.

i'm sure your not going to throw away money spent, so why don't you try to combine that bronzer you got with another bronzer. if you live near a walgreens, go there, and you will see the brand called pshycians formula. they have a bronzer that is out of this world. it's a shimmer bronzer. it's in a clear case, and has about 5 or 6 different color shimmer strips. if your a person with a light complextion then get the one that is a pinkish gold color. If you are more of a tan complected person, then get the one called Vegas Strip. What you can do is LIGHTLY apply the bronzer you got from mary kay LIGHLY, and then get a different blush brush and apply that Physican Formula Bronzer over it. Also add some to your forhead, chin, and nose, it will give your face a highlight look. I've spent tons of money on make up and especially bronzers, but the best one that I've tried is that Physican Formula. I use a MAC bronzer lightlty, and then I apply the other bronzer over it. And it looks HOT! For any other information hit me up.

    Darlena.Roman@yahoo.com

And for Eyeshadows that are cheap and WORK Just as well as the EXPENSIVE ONES, liek MAC for instance is at SALLYS beauty supply store. It's called Sally Girl, and it's only 0.99 cents. They have bright colors which I love, it's thick, rich, and the color stays on all day. It's better eye shadow than Christian Doir which I spend almost 50 something dollars for.
Well then return it I hate when I hear people say they are stuck with something if you don't like it call you consultant our product are 100% guarenteed if you are not getting the results you want then it doesn't work for you it doesn't mean it doesn't work for others I have people who didn't like the old one love this one so just take it back that is the advantage of Mary Kay
I am a big fan of the bare escentual products. They make your skin look incredibly clear and they have bronzers too. They are very easy to apply and come in a powder form. You do need a brush to apply it though. Check out their reviews at http://www.viewpoints.com/Bare-Escentual鈥?/a>

Note: they have a starter kit that they sell at Sephora for like $65. It includes like 5 different components. But for one product, it is like $20- $25.

I also know a lot of people that like Smashbox products, but I dont know if they make a bronzer.

Good luck! And, I totally understand how you feel about people pushing products on you!
Mary Kay products are 100% refundable. You need to call your MK consultant and have her refund it or trade it out for another set of colors. I'm a consultant and I'm letting you know that you can get a complete refund instead of being stuck with it. If she tells you she can't refund it then she is wrong.
Hey, try Sugar Tropic Tan from Sephora... I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!

  • Bronzing powder or tinted moisturizer?

Which one is better to add a little colour to your face?Bronzing powder or tinted moisturizer?
Both are good for adding color onto your face, but each one has a specific function depending on your needs.

Bronzing Powder - If you want to create that sunkissed glow, a bronzing powder is the way to go. Not only will it add just the right amount of color to your face, but it will also brighten your complexion to a healthy glow.

Tinted Moisturizer - If you just want to even out your skintone, a tinted moisturizer is your best bet. This stuff, unlike heavy foundations, is a lot more lighter and sheerer, and therefore gives you a more natural coverage. This stuff adds just the right amount of color to simply EVEN out your face.

***So now that you know what the main purpose of each product is, choose the one that fits your criteria. If you want a bit of color to add life to your face, go for a bronzer. If you want a bit of color to just even out your skintone however, go for a tinted moisturizer instead. ***

Hope this helpsBronzing powder or tinted moisturizer?
    bronzing poweder.

more sparkly and tinted makes you look like fake bimbo
bronzing powder because it makes you look tanner and the tinted moisterizer makes you look orange
Probably A dove Tinted Moisturizer. The powder can get easily uneven or if you sweat, off it goes! But make sure to put the moisturizer on evenly. If you don't then you look like a fried orange.
bronzing powder will probably add more color than tinted moisturizer. tinted moisturizer is very, very sheer, and is formulated for the purpose of even out your skin tone in the sheerest way possible. bronzer is supposed to give you that 'glowy' look and lets you look tanned and sunkissed by adding color.
Using tinted moisturizer remember some complexion's make it turn orange and if you don't exfoliate like you should then your going to get some kindof tint.

I would use the powder you know the color that it is. Just don't over do it with too much or too little.
I would say the tinted moisturizer for your face.
Tinted moisturiser is much better, but you need to buy a oil free type. The one that i like is made by Dove and leaves your skin feeling fresh and looking a little more sun kissed!

Is it okay for men to use bronzing powder?

NO!!!Is it okay for men to use bronzing powder?
Most bronzers have like a shimmeryness to it that would not look right on a guy. If you can find one that doesnt and make it look like your not wearing it then go for it but if you dont know how to do it correctly I wouldnt even bother plus if a girl you knew or your guy friends found out then you would never live it down. Just get some self tanner for your face. They have some that gradually do it and where you cant mess it up by making your face splotchy with orange. Is it okay for men to use bronzing powder?
Of course it's ok! Why not? If you find it works for you then there's no reason not to.

Expert Wear Bronzer By Maybelline works very well. I'm not sure of the price but i'm sure it's not very much and can be bought anywhere.
believe this or not.. get a bottle of liquid cover up(your choice of tints) mix with fav. facial or body cream. Gives an even tone of color to your face. it works
MAC carries a wonderful bronzing powder.

I don't use it on my whole face, but as a blush,as it gives a lovely shimmery golden glow.I think it's price4d at $20 or so.

There are other brands as well.If don't want to spend a lot of money, you can buy some Maybelline or Covergirl cosmetics products.

But i suggest you invest on a quality product and don't waste your money on something that would be good for now and below average quality.

    Good luck!
There is a product made of mineral powder probably run you about 8-12$ You can find it in the maybeline section at any store that sells cosmetics. wal-mart is the cheapest

Just make sure you get a bronzer that is right for your skin. If you are very light skinned get the lightest bronzer they have.
I have been using Rimmel Natural bronzer for about a year now. It looks very good and you can get it from Wal-Mart for about $4.
I would go with anything from Physician's Formula. It runs about $8 at Wal-Mart, Target, Ect.

Why does bronzing powder have so many colours in the one palette? How are you supposed to use it?

I love bronzer and it is even better if it has more than 1 colour because it works with the diffrent feters of yoiuur face and adds color and warmth! put it on your cheecks and a little all over and if you have dimples -i do-put it at the points...also work from the top of your jaw bone down to your chin-defyieng you jaw bone and chin and the shape of your face! Why does bronzing powder have so many colours in the one palette? How are you supposed to use it?
i use the biggest brush i have for bronzer. pick up some powder from all the colors evenly. tap the brush to get off any extra powder, you do NOT want to overdo the bronzer. hah.

avoid going straight to the t-zone, lightly buff along you cheekbones. as you lose some of the powder on the brush, you may then choose to work it into the t-zone areas. the good thing about bronzer is its stackable. always go light, less is more! if you want more coverage, just do it all over again!

hope this helped :]Why does bronzing powder have so many colours in the one palette? How are you supposed to use it?
The colors are supposed to blend together to create a natural finish. Just rub the brush all over the pallete and pick up all the colors.
you get your brush blend all the colors. make sure it is light you dont want it heavy. and make sure all colors are blended exact.

    GOD BLESS YOU
you just swipe your brush over the whole palette and then use it on your face! it looks amazing using all colors!
rub ur thing ovr them all. and blend them well on ur face

Should i use foundation under bronzing powder?

I've got mixed race skin, and i bought some bronzing powder and foundation today, and i wondered shall i apply the foundation first? Will it help keep the bronzing powder on?

Btw whats better bronzing powder or pressed powder?Should i use foundation under bronzing powder?
No put the bronzer on after. The foundation will hide it. The powder has something to cling to when on top of the foundation, hence people use powder to set foundation. It helps foundation stay longer.

Bronzer adds colour. A pressed powder is to stop shine in T-Zone %26amp; mattify skin. A loose powder is the same but used more for a less heavy look %26amp; to set foundation.

EDIT: If you mean bronzer as a loose powder, compact or pearls then it is personal choice. I prefer a pressed powder shimmer brick bronzer. When there's more colours :) 'Cause the colours double up, such as a goldy colour can be used to highlight.Should i use foundation under bronzing powder?
if your new to makeup then a pressed powder is better loose powders can be messy and are not travel friendly..... foundation is meant to even out your skin so you have a ';clean canvas'; to apply what ever you want to put on your face so yeah you should apply foundation then apply your bronzing powder

What is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?

Ive been reading some of the other answers and id like to know the difference. Some people say that bronzing powder is meant for certain places on the face like the cheaks and the forehead. If that is true, than what kind or color powder is supposed to be for the whole face. Is bronzing powder a make-up for people with darker skin or is it just to give a tan look for people with lighter skin? What is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?
Bronzing Powder = can be used anywhere on your face

used for tanning for light and dark skin

Reg. Powder= can be used anywhere on your face used for cover-up and/or for ur skin to look evenWhat is the difference between bronzing powder and regular powder?
regular powder is the exact match of your skin tone to go all over your face to even out the colour. bronzing powder is a colour that is darker than your natural colour to make you appear more tan, it can go all over your face, but some people choose to only put it onto certain parts, like thier cheeks.
Bronzing powder is used for contouring, and for giving that sun-kissed look. Bronzing powder, just like regular powder comes in many colors to compliment different skin tones. If you look in the mirror and suck in your cheeks, that hollow area on each side that you see is where bronzer would be lightly applied to give the appearance of defined cheekbones. Mostly women over 18 should do this, as seeing it on younger girls looks rather weird. On the forehead, it is for lessening the appearance of a large forehead, and can be used for contouring the nose to camouflage imperfections. It can be swept under the jaw line right above your neck to shadow and define the jaw line. It really can enhance the shape of facial features if you use it right. You cannot cake this powder on or you will have lines. I wear it under regular powder, blending both together.
Bronzer is to darken certain areas of the face for a sun kissed look, and powder is for all over. They make powder for people with dark skin to put all over the face and also bronzer to highlight certain areas, usually bronzer has a shine to it so its best to use powder for all over.
Bronzing powder can be used on lighter skinned people for that sun-kissed look. Just use sparingly. I only recommend using on your face or maybe a little across your collar bones. Regular powder can be applied all over.
Bronzer can be used for any skin color. It can give light skinned people some color, but most bronzers have a sparkle to them. This can give your skin a sparkle. Bronzer can be used all over your face, even your neck. Bronzing powder is a makeup, and can be found at most makeup places. (ex.Sephora, ULTA, etc.)
