I don't think it can really cover scars that well. It will darken the stop. Try using a concealer instead. Then bronzer over if needed.

bronzing isn't going to conceal anything but you can try some concealers that are really impressive and blend with the skin by dr. murad then bronze gently over the areas you want bronzed
It won't concealanything, rather make it more bronzed and draw more attention to it.
